First post, just for AHNP

By somewhat of a popular demand, I've decided to start a mini-blog; "mini" because I dont think that i'll be a regular blogger as I dont perceive myself to be an expressive person. And of course, the occupational habit of mine requires me to define "regular blogger" as a person who blogs on a daily basis :)

I think it is apt that my first post is to commemorate a day in which I experienced a very strong sense of satisfaction, surprise and, most definitely, 感动. Nothing too corny/lame here today, except expressing my appreciation to the cadets of AHS NPCC for today...
"Satisfaction" came when we had NP unit lunch today and I felt that everyone was indulging in the presence of everyone. It was not simply another lunch, it was a feeling that the unit has bonded and that all inter-personal barriers have broken down...
"Surprise" came when we received doughnuts :] I appreciate that you all had gone to queue for them and even had them tucked away from sight so as to catch us (and a bit of our tear ducts) off guard...
Of course, "感动" came when all of you, though sounding mushy, shouted "thank you sir and ma'am, 我们永远爱你!" This was definitely the icing on the cake :))

My NP life begun almost three years back under the persuasion of two friends and with me being kinda lost in the Corps without prior background. It was a stroke of fate that brought us together in AHS NPCC and it has been a joy-ride ever since! Although we didnt see much of each other during the first year, we've nonetheless come out strong as a unit, being proud and supportive of one another :]

As much as you all thank us for our efforts, I'd like to thank all of you as well for the dedication and enthusiasm that you've given us. And of course, I am fortunate to have the luxury of having all of you listen to my long stories on life and listen to me nag ;p

If the world's a stage and, we're actors and actresses, I'm glad that our stories have and continue to be intertwined with one another... The presence of all of you has left a positive mark in my life...
